(CSR) Club Social Responsibility Project


Mighty Mini Club committee has decided to collect funds from members who wish to donate for the purchase of five wheel chairs. Each wheel chair will be purchased at a specially negotiated price of Rs. 8,900.00.

As a start for this project your committee collected funds amongst each other and purchased a wheel chair which was donated on 7th of February 2009  to a young soldier Sarath Kumara of the SL ARMY who has lost both legs in action. There after few more wheel chairs were distributed among the needy. Most were given to SL Army soldiers who lost their limbs while in action.

Donations  done to date are:.

1. Wheel Chair Donation to 24 years old Soldier Sarath Kumara of the SL Army

2. Wheel Chair Donation to Anthony Raj of Boralla who is a cancer patient.

3. Wheel Chair Donation to 33 years old Lance corporal Pradeep C Kumara of Matara.

4. Wheel Chair Donation to 26 years old Lacnce corporal R.A.M Rajakaruna of  Negambo

5. Wheel Chair Donation to 30 years old Upul Sanjeewa of Ja-ela, Minuwangoda.

6. Wheel Chair Donation to 36 Years old D.W.M.C Nanadana Wadimuna “Non Commissioned Officer” of Anuradhapura
